Make a list of questions to ask our office so that you don\u2019t forget anything on the day of your appointment. This includes any concerns you have or oral problems you\u2019ve been experiencing.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t When you arrive for your first visit, our friendly office staff will confirm your personal information and collect the proper registration materials. During your initial appointment, Dr. Barber or Dr. Springer will perform an initial consultation and comprehensive examination to determine your diagnosis. Once your diagnosis is determined, the oral surgeon will outline his recommendation for treatment. We are happy to work with you and help you determine a treatment plan that you feel comfortable with.<\/p> Please alert the office if you have a medical condition that may be of concern prior to surgery (e.g., diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves and joints, rheumatic fever, etc.) or if you are on any medication (e.g., heart medications, aspirin, anticoagulant therapy, etc.).<\/p> If you will be undergoing IV anesthesia for surgery, a pre-operative consultation and physical examination are required prior to your treatment.
